The Secessionist Manifesto
A Declaration of the Right to Separate
and a Guide to Restraint
by Sonny Patterson
What it is
A secular argument that the right of exit is not only a last resort against tyranny. It is the standing discipline that keeps power humble. The unit does not change from a conversation to a compact: a Self is a territory; the neighboring Self is presumed the same kind of fact; power stops at that line; the line is real only if the door works.
Part I is a standalone Declaration. Parts II–VI are the guide: consciousness and stewardship, eleven vectors of tyranny, boundaries in speech and property, duty, incentive, and the American experiment—including the objections that appear only at the scale of a population.
What it is not
- A party platform or a recruitment manual.
- A costume for a present faction.
- A brief for the Confederacy, or for any weld that calls itself Union.
